Oklahoma’s softball team finished up the regular season the way they started it, with Keilani Ricketts throwing a no-hitter. Ricketts no-hit OSU on Sunday afternoon in Stillwater, as the Sooners won the regular season finale for both teams, 5-0. Ricketts struck out seven in recording her 5th no-hitter of the season, and 6th of her career, both school records.

Lauren Chamberlain hit two 2-run home runs, increasing her team-leading total to 25 for the season. OU finished regular season 47-4 and 15-2 in conference play.

Later on Sunday, Oklahoma found out they are the number one overall seed for the NCAA Tournament, and will host a regional next weekend in Norman. The Sooners will meet Marist in the first round on Friday night at 7:30. Fordham will play Arkansas in the other game, with that start time set for 5:00. It's a double elimination regional, with the winner advancing to the Super Regionals, to face the winner of the Texas A&M regional.
Baylor and Arizona are in that four-team regional in College Station. If Oklahoma continues to advance, they will not have to leave the state the rest of the season, with the Women's College World Series set for Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City in early June.
