Fight leads to discovery of body at Pauls Valley creek
PAULS VALLEY, Okla. – Officials are investigating after a man’s body was found near a creek Tuesday morning.
Officials at the Pauls Valley Police Dept. said they were called to the Pauls Valley Love’s truck stop just before 2 a.m.
“According to our employees working at the Pauls Valley Love’s early this morning, a man came into the store around 1:45 a.m. asking for help and to call the police,” Love’s Communications Manager, Kyla Turner, said. “Police and paramedics arrived on the scene in minutes to attend to this man. We commend our employees for acting quickly and doing the right thing.”
Some how, that investigation led to the discovery of a body on the bank of Rush Creek.
Officials have not released the man’s identity.
Authorities have not said how the man died.
OSBI is now investigating.
