EL RENO, Okla. - Tempers flare during day eight of the Becky Bryan murder trial and the defendant is accused of lying to the OSBI.
Bryan is accused of murdering her husband, Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan, at their Mustang home in 2011.
She claimed an intruder shot Keith, but was arrested after a gun was found in the dryer.
Wednesday afternoon, the Bryan's son, Kent, testified the same type of gun was stolen from his house five months before his dad was murdered.
At one point, Becky's defense attorney, Gary James, started yelling at OSBI Agent Francia Thompson.
He was upset about Thompson waiting until last month to write a report on a potential witness who told them he saw a person driving erratically from the area. That person, James said, matched Becky's intruder description.
Thompson said the delay was not intentional.
She also accused Becky of lying to the OSBI when the defendant claimed she followed the intruder through the door to their garage.
However, Thompson said Becky never mentioned the intruder walking through the utility room, which is where the gun was found in the dryer.
Testimony continues Thursday morning.
