EDMOND, Okla. – Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man after finding him passed out in a running truck Friday morning.
Officials said they found 32-year-old William Talbott in asleep in a white Dodge pickup truck on the 7600 block of 234th St. in Edmond.
Authorities said it took Talbott a few minutes to wake up and when he did, he told deputies he thought he was in Shawnee, not Edmond.
Talbott admitted he had used meth a few hours before.
Deputies said they found crystal meth and a syringe in the truck.
They said they truck was reported stolen from Oklahoma City Monday.
Talbott was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on complaints of:
*Possession of a stolen vehicle
*Possession of a controlled dangerous substance
*Actual physical control
*Possession of drug paraphernalia
*Possession of stolen property
Talbott is currently in jail on an $8,500 bond.
