Urge to help others saves siblings from Moore tornado
MOORE, Okla. – A father’s urge to help others in their time of need may have been the move that saved the lives of his three children.
The siblings didn’t go to Plaza Towers elementary Monday because they were helping the victims of another tornado that tore through the state Sunday.
The father took his children to Bethel Acres to help other tornado victims, a move that kept his children out of the Moore tornado and out of the school where seven students were killed.
