Newtown residents help Okla. after tornadoes
For the past week we have been sharing stories of Oklahomans helping tornado victims.
Now a group all too familiar with tragedy has also come to help pick up the pieces.
These volunteers traveled all the way from Newtown, Connecticut, to lend a hand.
The mass shooting at Sandy Hook elementary in Dec. 2012 affected everyone in this group.
They all know the ache of devastating loss.
They said they agree paying it forward is all part of the healing process.
