VIDEO: Newcastle police chief records monster tornado on dashcam
NEWCASTLE, Okla. – We are getting a new view of the twister that swept through Newcastle and Moore May 20.
Newcastle Police Chief Greg Norman took this video.
He caught the tornado crossing the highway, the atmosphere around his car was calm at that point.
But just minutes later the winds and the danger picked up.
He kept a safe distance but you can see the monster storm in front of him picking up speed and strength, eventually becoming the EF-5 tornado that killed dozens and caused unbelievable damage.
Norman continued to record the tornado for more than 10 minutes as it traveled northeast.
