Men accused of stealing copper from storm-damaged areas

NEWALLA, OK -- Two men have been arrested in Cleveland County for stealing scrap metal and copper from tornado victims in Newalla. A witness called police after seeing 21-year-old Jonathan Muise and 49-year-old Johnny Harris digging through debris.

Deputies were told the pair was pulling copper wire from the destruction.

Authorities say the men admitted to taking copper and scrap metal for the past three days from the area to make a profit.

They were arrested for disturbing a disaster area.
