Okla. files over 70,000 insurance claims after tornadoes
Losses from the tornadoes and flooding have now topped $560 million.
According to the latest information from the State Insurance Department, nearly 71,000 people have now filed claims.
Most of that cost is for homes, cars and businesses.
For anyone who still needs help navigating the damage claims process, the insurance dept. is hosting a series of forums.
All forums are from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Experts will explain how to file a claim, what to do if your claim is denied, how to file a complaint and how to spot fraud.
