Officials said if you notice a child is very red and sweating profusely or the opposite extreme, very pale and they have stopped sweating, both conditions are dangerous and signal a problem.
Frequent water breaks out of the sun, wearing light clothing and staying hydrated will help prevent any heat-related illness.
If you notice your young athlete has any of those symptoms, health officials said you should immediately seek medical attention.
