Okie noodling, movie passes, Libertyfest and Jazz in June
It’s Frugal Friday and you know what that means… fun, freebies and giveaways!
If an outdoor music festival sounds good to you, head to Norman now through Saturday night for Jazz in June.
Enjoy all the live music for free at Andrews Park and Brookhaven Village.
Don’t forget your favorite instrument to get in on the late-night jam session and learn from the pros.
Yes, this event is a bit far from the metro but I promise it is well worth the drive.
The Okie Noodling Tournament is an event you can’t miss in Pauls Valley Saturday.
It’s free to watch this display of man vs. beast at Wacker Park.
Contestants will scour the river and lake areas, using nothing but their own bodies to wrangle the best and biggest catfish they can find.
Children can get in on the fun at the kids’ noodling clinic and catfish-eating contest.
Face-painting, inflatables and games will also be set up for the little ones.
Why not start celebrating our great nation early?
Edmond’s Libertyfest kicks off Saturday and you can enjoy the patriotism through Independence Day.
CNN and USA Today called the event “one of the top 10 places to be on July 4.”
This huge festival has a car show, parade, cardboard boat regatta and of course, fireworks.
The best part, admission is free!
Gru and the crew are back in theaters soon and we want you to be the first to see the new releases.
Joseph O. won advance screening passes and some very cool gear so he can be decked out in Despicable Me 2 at the showing.
All he had to do was watch Frugal Friday.
Watch News Channel 4 Frugal Friday each week at 6 p.m. for your chance to win!
