Police search for suspect in shooting, attempted car jacking
OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are searching for a suspect who opened fire on another car Thursday.
Authorities originally said it was a case of road rage but now believe it to be an attempted car jacking.
Police said a person parked near N.W. 39th St. and Portland when a suspect approached him and made a demand.
The victim sped off and the suspect followed.
The chase ended around N.W. 36th St. and Portland.
The suspect was shooting as he ran from the scene.
Fortunately the victim was not hit but the suspect got away.
