Police ask help identifying Sayre bank robbery suspect

SAYRE, Okla. – The FBI is asking your help finding a bank robbery suspect in southwestern Oklahoma.

The robbery happened just after 4 p.m. Thursday at Sayre’s Interbank on Main St.

Surveillance video caught the suspect walking in and demanding money from the teller.

Officials said the suspect got away with an unknown amount of money.

He is described as a 40 to 50-year-old man with grey hair and prescription glasses

He was wearing a red and blue baseball cap with “New York” lettering and a blue bandanna under the hat.

If you have any information, police would like to speak with you about the case.

You could be eligible for a reward up to $2,000 if your tip leads to an arrest.
