Gas prices hit 4-week high, increase to continue
OKLAHOMA CITY – Gas prices have hit a four-week high Wednesday.
The Oklahoma City average in Oklahoma City is about $3.49 per gallon.
Gas prices have gone up every day for the last 10 days.
According to AAA, after falling dramatically over July 4, prices are now climbing because of decreasing oil inventories and the political unrest in Egypt.
The Energy Department is predicting another 15-cent increase is possible in the coming weeks.
