OKLAHOMA CITY– An office that was created to help residents with the rebuilding process after the tornadoes this spring announced that it will close.
The resident outreach office, located in the Business Development Center of the Moore-Norman Technology Center, will close its doors on Wednesday, July 24.
It was designed to be a convenient location for residents and contractors in need of demolition permits, debris removal information and building permit and plan review advice.
So far, 200 residents and contractors have visited the outreach office since it opened on June 5.
After July 24, operations will move downtown and residents still in need of these services should call the city’s Development Center at (405) 297-2525.
Property owners who want city-hired contractors to remove and haul debris from their property should call (405) 297-1030.
