Hole in viaduct bridge brings traffic to a stop
GUTHRIE, Okla.– Problems with Guthrie’s viaduct bridge are forcing city officials to close the connection between Guthrie’s east and west sides for about an hour.
Another hole has appeared, allowing daylight to appear if you look at the bridge from below.
Road workers were able to use two steel plates to cover the hole as a temporary fix until a more permanent solution can be put in place.
The 76-year-old viaduct bridge has had issues with crumbling concrete in recent months.
