Police say child left in hot car for three hours has died
HOMEWOOD, Ala — Alabama’s Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the girl who died after being left in a hot car Wednesday as Gabriella Gi-Ny Luong, 11 months-old.
The child was sent to the hospital after being locked in a vehicle in Homewood.
Medics arrived around 1:20 pm Wednesday, treated the girl and transported the child to the hospital, where she later died.
It’s unknown how long the child was inside the vehicle.
