Lahoma-Palooza pays tribute to book with novel idea
LAHOMA, Okla.– A small community in northwestern Oklahoma will be celebrating a monumental anniversary.
The novel “Lahoma” is celebrating its 100th anniversary this weekend.
In honor of the milestone, organizers created ‘Lahoma-Palooza.’
The town has invited anyone who shares the name ‘Lahoma’ to attend the celebration.
Organizers expect about 40 people with that name to show up on Saturday.
