Lahoma-Palooza pays tribute to book with novel idea
LAHOMA, Okla.– A small community in northwestern Oklahoma will be celebrating a monumental anniversary.
The novel “Lahoma” is celebrating its 100th anniversary this weekend.
In honor of the milestone, organizers created ‘Lahoma-Palooza.’
The town has invited anyone who shares the name ‘Lahoma’ to attend the celebration.
Organizers expect about 40 people with that name to show up on Saturday.
We’re told they all connected through Facebook.
