Becky Bryan files appeal for murder conviction
EL RENO, Okla.- Less than two weeks after being sentenced to life in prison, a woman convicted of murdering her husband has filed an appeal.
Rebecca Bryan was convicted of first-degree murder in the death of her husband, Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan.
A judge in Canadian County sentenced her to life in prison without the possibility of parole on July 9.
The murder took place in September of 2011 at the couple’s home in Mustang.
While investigators found a gun hidden inside a dryer, Bryan claimed an intruder shot and killed her husband.
