TULSA, Okla. – Thousands of people are without power in Tulsa after overnight storms.

The weather blew through northeast Oklahoma causing roof damage, knocking down power lines and flinging debris everywhere.

Wednesday morning Tulsa police were urging residents to stay home while officials work to clean up the area.

Fire crews spent the night battling several fires sparked by lightning.
