Back-to-school supplies, oil changes offered during “Day of Hope”
OKLAHOMA CITY- One of the largest churches in the country is helping local families with their back-to-school needs.
People’s Church is hosting its “Day of Hope” Aug. 3 at Douglass High School from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
During the event, organizers will give away school supplies and backpacks to students in kindergarten through the fifth grade.
Visitors will also be able to take advantage of health screenings, dental screenings and haircuts for students from kindergarten through the twelfth grade.
Single moms will even be able to get their oil changed for free.
