Kansas company laying off Okla. employees
TULSA, Okla.- A Kansas-based company says it is laying off hundreds of employees, including some working in Oklahoma.
Spirit AeroSystems says they’re offering employees severance benefits but did not specify how many of the 3,000 Oklahoma employees will be laid off.
Spirit Aerostructures operations in Tulsa produces airplane wings and a line of aerospace products and services.
The facility in McAlester supports the company’s other sites with parts.
