NBA veteran signs with OKC for one-year deal
OKLAHOMA CITY- Sources say another veteran will be coming to the Oklahoma City Thunder’s roster this season.
Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the Thunder have signed veteran forward Ryan Gomes to a one-year contract at the veteran’s minimum salary.
Gomes is a 6’7″ forward who played last season in Germany.
Before that time, the 30-year-old played in the NBA during the 2011-2012 season, taking the court in 32 games for the Los Angeles Clippers.
He averaged just 2.3 points per game that season.
Gomes is a seven-year NBA veteran, playing his first two seasons with Boston, then three with Minnesota and two with the Clippers.
Throughout his career, he has averaged just over 10 points a game.
