Redhawks make clean sweep of Iowa, prepare for next series
OKLAHOMA CITY- The Oklahoma City Redhawks made a clean sweep of an Iowa team earlier this week as it prepares for its next series at home.
The Redhawks completed a four-game sweep of the Iowa Cubs on Monday night.
With the game tied at 3-3, George Springer led off the bottom of the 9th inning with a triple before scoring on a wild pitch to give Oklahoma City the win.
The Redhawks won the game 4-3 at the Bricktown Ballpark.
The team opens a four-game series at home against Reno on Tuesday night.
