FORNEY, Texas- A man who was acquitted of murdering a teenager in Florida was confronted by police for something completely different.
George Zimmerman was stopped for speeding by officers in Forney, Texas on Sunday.
During the traffic stop, he told police that he had a gun with him in his glove compartment.
The officer asked Zimmerman where he was going and the Florida resident said, "nowhere in particular."
When authorities asked him why he said that, Zimmerman said, "You didn't see my name?"
He was given a verbal warning for speeding after a check to make sure there were no outstanding warrants in his name.
Zimmerman was found not guilty earlier this month for the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
