OKLAHOMA CITY – Police and fire crews are investigating a suspicious fire at Mayridge Apartments on N.W. 50th and May Ave.
The fire started on the second floor Saturday evening.
It rapidly spread to over 20 other apartments, destroying four of them.
“That whole top level, flaming and a lot of smoke,” Resident Debbie Colt said. “You couldn’t even see, there was a lot of smoke.”
The fire also knocked out power to the building.
One man was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and smoke inhalation.
Police arrested one person at the apartments.
