Woman arrested for throwing puppy against wall
OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City woman goes to jail after her roommate accuses her of repeatedly throwing a puppy against a wall.
Oklahoma City Police were called to the 1900 block N. Cherry street which is near N.E. 23rd Street and Sunnylane Road, Saturday night.
Police say a woman was holding a puppy in medical distress.
The puppy had trouble breathing and it had bloody mucus coming from its mouth.
The woman told police, 18-year-old Shaneeka Anita Thompson, had become enraged when the puppy urinated on her bed and threw it against the wall twice and then outside.
Thompson was booked on Animal Cruelty charges.
