Deputies make 200-pound marijuana bust in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma County sheriff’s deputies have one man in custody after finding just less than 200 pounds of marijuana in his van.

Deputies pulled over 22-year-old Adrian Castro on E. Reno near E.K. Gaylord Blvd. after he made an illegal turn. marijuana bust suspect

Deputies said he gave them a fake driver’s license and couldn’t prove the vehicle was insured.

They said they smelled marijuana coming from the van.

A K9 found four large boxes of pot insulated with spray foam in the van.

Castro is facing charges several charges.

*Trafficking illegal drugs
*Possession of false identification
*Failure to show insurance
*Travelling left of center

He is currently being held in the Oklahoma County jail on a $26,000 bond.
