Foundation donates 2,000 backpacks to Moore students
MOORE, Okla. – Teachers in the Moore district went back to school Monday for the first time since the storms.
Students start class Friday.
Tuesday the Kids In Need Foundation is dropping off 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies, for students in Moore.
Officials said the backpacks will be distributed throughout the district.
They dropped off the supplies at Central Junior High in Moore.
Students from Plaza Towers Elementary will attend class there during the upcoming year.
