Church claims God is against fracking
ENGLAND – Fracking has a number of opponents and a church in Great Britain claims God is one of them.
The Church of England’s Blackburn Diocese told parishioners that fracking causes environmental problems and risks lasting harm to “God’s glorious creation.”
They even published a leaflet telling their congregation that, for Christians, fracking represents a choice between economic gain and a healthy environment.
Church leaders said they went public with their stance as the debate over fracking in Great Britain heats up.
