Duck call mogol mistaken at New York hotel
NEW YORK — It was a case of mistaken identity. Apparently not everyone is a “Duck Dynasty” fan. One of the show’s bearded and “bandanna-ed” stars was escorted out of his New York City hotel this week after he was possibly mistaken for a homeless man.
Jase Robertson says he asked a Trump Tower Hotel employee where the bathroom was and he said the employee said “right this way, sir” walked him outside and pointed down the road and said “good luck.”
Robertson laughed the entire situation off as a case of “facial profiling” when he appeared on the “Live with Kelly and Michael show” to promote Season 4 premiere of Duck Dynasty.
That hotel employee may not have known who Robertson is but 11.8 million viewers tuned in Wednesday night to the premier making it the most watched non-fiction show in the history of cable TV.
