Gas prices expected to rise over Labor Day
If you’re planning to hit the road this Labor Day weekend, you might want to keep an eye on gas prices.
Over the past month gas prices have been going down but Monday the price of oil rose to more than $107 a barrel.
Experts said they are expecting that increase to be passed on to drivers.
The ongoing violence in Egypt is to blame for much of that increase.
Closer to home, the last season hurricanes and summer travel could also make gas more expensive.
Tuesday the average price a gallon of gas nationwide is $3.54.
Here in Oklahoma it is about 20 cents less, averaging around 3.35 a gallon.
