Two defensive players suspended for OU season opener
NORMAN, Okla.- As many football fans are counting down the days until their teams’ season opener, Sooner fans will be missing two faces from the starting lineup due to suspensions.
Cortez Johnson, a defensive back who transferred from Arizona, will be suspended for the Louisiana-Monroe game for breaking a team rule.
A defensive tackle, Chuka Ndulue, will also be suspended.
Both players are expected back for the second game of the season against West Virginia.
