More help for Moore in golf tournament
MOORE, Okla. – More help is on the way today for teachers impacted by the Moore tornado.
Later Monday morning, the Moore Public Schools Foundation is hosting its eighth annual golf tournament.
This year, proceeds will benefit teachers still recovering from the May 20th tornado, including educators from Plaza Towers and Briarwood, which were destroyed in the storm.
About 100 people played in last year’s tournament raising $20,000 for the foundation.
Organizers said they are hoping for an even better turnout Monday.
Tee time was 8 a.m. at Earlywine Park.
Four people are on a team and there is no limit on how many teams can participate.
