RedHawks’ home winning streak stops at 17

Redhawks lose

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City RedHawks had their franchise record 17-game home winning streak snapped with a 6-3 loss to Nashville on Monday night at the Bricktown Ballpark.

OKC gave up four runs in the third inning as they dropped the first of the four-game series against the Sounds.

Elsewhere in the Pacific Coast League, Albuquerque beat Round Rock 6-to-5, which moves the RedHawks’ magic number to clinch the division title to just 1.

Any RedHawk win or Round Rock loss in the final seven games of the season will give OKC the division title.

The series with Nashville continues Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.
