Police chase ends in crash, man’s arrest; marijuana found
OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have a man in custody after a chase early Wednesday morning.
Authorities tried to pull over a car driving without headlights near N.W. 50th St. and the Lake Hefner Parkway at about 1 a.m.
Officials said the driver sped off and threw something from the vehicle.
According to police, the driver eventually crashed into a fence near N.W. 19th St. and MacArthur and then took off running.
Officers caught up to the man and took him into custody.
They said they also found marijuana he tossed out the window.
The suspect’s identity has not been released.
No word on what charges this man might face.
