NORMAN, Okla. — It’s a throwback to yesteryear, this Sooners football team of 2013. OU won its season opener against Louisiana-Monroe last weekend 34 – 0, the first shutout in an opener since Bob Stoops first game as OU’s head coach in 1999 (49 – 0 over Indiana State).
Also, it seemed like the Barry Switzer OU days when the Sooners RUSHED for 305 yards in the victory last Saturday.
NewsChannel 4’s Nate Feken reports on Oklahoma’s new “option”… a running quarterback and a formidable ground game.
The report includes comments from Coach Stoops, RB Brennan Clay and DB Aaron Colvin.
