RedHawks rally to win finale, gearing up for playoffs
OKLAHOMA CITY- After a win over Memphis earlier this week, the Oklahoma City RedHawks are gearing up for the playoffs.
Jon Singleton made the game-winning run in the bottom of the 9th inning to lead the RedHawks to a 2-1 win over Memphis on Monday.
It was the end of the regular season for both teams.
Memphis’ loss, combined with Omaha’s win over Round Rock, means Omaha wins their division and will be Oklahoma City’s opponent for the first round of the Pacific Coast League playoffs.
The RedHawks will host the first two games of the series on Wednesday and Thursday.
The series will then move to Omaha for the end of the best-of-five series on Friday through Sunday.
The RedHawks finished the regular season 82-62, the second highest win total in franchise history.
