OSU names Walsh starter after season-opening win

STILLWATER, Okla.- After OSU’s season-opening win over Mississippi State on Saturday, Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy said J.W. Walsh will be the Cowboys starting quarterback for their next game at Texas-San Antonio next weekend.
Clint Chelf started the game against the Bulldogs but only played two possessions.
Walsh took over and rushed for 125 yards and threw for 135 more.
Both Walsh and Chelf started last season at quarterback.
