Connecticut school locked down lifted after gun fire reported nearby
NORWALK, Conn. – The lockdown has been lifted on Connecticut elementary school after someone reported hearing gun shots nearby Wednesday.
According to Connecticut police, the shots may have been fired in a neighborhood next to Cranberry Elementary School.
This school is about 20 miles south of Sandy Hook where a brutal massacre killed teachers and students last December.
No one at the school has been injured, according to WABC.
They said authorities are searching the area but have not been able to find any suspects or anyone else who heard the shots.
