DALLAS, Texas- Police in Texas are searching for a serial rapist accused of attacking seven women.

Authorities say the attacks took place between June 22 and September 1.

The rapist is described as a black man, approximately 25 to 30-years-old, standing between 5’6″ to 5’11” tall and weighs 200 pounds.

During each attack, he was wearing a t-shirt, shorts and prescription glasses but always covers his face with a piece of clothing.

The man, armed with a handgun, walks up the victims who are walking and demands they go with him to a secluded area where he assaults them.

Officials say he also may leave the area in a gray Honda Civic or an older model gray Volvo sedan.

The victims range from late teens to their 40’s but all were walking from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.

According to NBCDFW, officers say it appears the suspect’s trend is changing since five of the rapes happened within the last couple of weeks.

Police are warning residents to take precautions and to not walk alone.
