Former Sooner Adrian Peterson scored a touchdown on his first carry of the 2013 NFL season, going 78 yards to score for Minnesota in their 34-24 loss at Detroit.
Peterson scored three touchdowns, two by rushing, and one receiving, but after his first carry, he had just 15 yards rushing on 17 carries.
Former Sooner Sam Bradford was 27 of 38 for 299 yards passing and two touchdowns to Jared Cook.
He also scored on a two-point conversion attempt, leading the St. Louis Rams to a 27-24 win over Arizona.
Former OSU quarterback Brandon Weeden was 26 of 53 for 289 yards and a touchdown, but also threw three interceptions, as Cleveland lost at home to Miami, 23-10.
The Dallas Cowboys capitalized on six New York Giants turnovers to win 36-31 on Sunday night in Arlington, Texas.
Former Sooner DeMarco Murray had 20 carries for 86 yards, and eight catches for 39 yards, while former OSU receiver Dez Bryant had four catches for 22 yards.
Former OSU kicker Dan Bailey kicked three field goals in the Dallas win.
