Walsh named offensive player of the week after Cowboys’ win
STILLWATER, Okla.- After an efficient performance against UTSA, Oklahoma State quarterback J.W. Walsh was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week.
Saturday, the Cowboys beat the UTSA in San Antonio 56-35.
Throughout the game, Walsh stood out as a star.
In fact, he had more touchdown passes than incomplete passes in the game.
Walsh finished the game completing 24 of 27 passes for 326 yards and four touchdowns.
His 88.9 percent completion rate set a new OSU single-game record.
Last week, Caleb Lavey was name the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week following the Cowboys’ season-opening win against Mississippi State.
