Blanchard Lions Roaring D
Defending 3A state champion Blanchard has a lot to be pleased with just two weeks into the high school football season.
They’ve averaged 47 points in their first two wins, plus their opponents haven’t scored more than 14 points in each match up.
This week the Lions square off with Newcastle who is also off to 2-0 start.
Clearly the goal for Jeff Craig’s Lions is to repeat as state champs. Last year Blanchard finished 13-1 to win it all. When asked about raising the bar this year and going 14-0, Craig said laughing, “we’ll try not to stumble in week 10.”
