Gas prices over $3 per gallon for 1,000 days in a row
It’s a monumental day for gas prices but maybe not one to celebrate.
Tuesday gas prices have been over $3 per gallon for 1,000 days in a row.
It’s the first time ever on record.
The current streak began Dec. 23, 2010 and it sounds like it’s going to stay that way.
AAA is forecasting the national average will remain above $3 per gallon for at least another 1,000 days.
Tuesday Oklahomans are seeing a bit of relief.
This marks only 241 days of consecutive $3 gas prices for the Sooner State.
Right now the average in Oklahoma is about $3.40 per gallon.
