UPDATE: Teenager abducted during home invasion found alive
ELLENWOOD, Ga.-A 14-year-old girl who was abducted during a violent home invasion has been found alive.
Clayton County police say Ayvani Hope Perez was kidnapped after two armed men broke into her family’s home Monday night.
According to Perez’s family, the intruders demanded jewelry and money.
After her mother told them she didn’t have either, the suspects shot the family dog and kidnapped the girl.
Authorities say she was found in “good health” and has been taken back to her family.
At this time, two suspects are in custody.
