UPDATE: Three injured in semi vs. car accident on I-40 westbound in MWC
UPDATE 7:31 a.m. – Crews have cleared the accident in Midwest City. Traffic should be moving as normal.
MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – Three people are in the hospital with minor injuries after an accident involving a car and semi in the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 at Hudiburg Dr. near Sooner Rd. Friday morning.
Crews said the 13-year-old girl they said had a head injury got whiplash.
Officials said a semi hydroplaned and bumped a car sending it into a concrete barrier.
They said the semi regained control and did not stop.
Authorities said they should have the scene cleared soon.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
No word if anyone will face charges in this accident.
