OSU resting up during bye week before West Virginia
STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State( 3-0) will be resting up and regrouping this weekend to prepare to take on West Virginia.
OSU, No. 12, beat Lamar 59-3 last weekend but Coach Mike Gundy said he wasn’t exactly pleased with the team’s performance.
“We’ll take advantage of the bye week,” Gundy said. “Get three good practices in, take three days off, bring them back and get them focused for the next week, get three more good practices, have a run-through and then travel to West Virginia.”
The toughest games of their schedule are yet to come.
The Cowboys will kick off in West Virginia at noon Sept. 28.
After meeting the Mountaineers, OSU will take on Kansas State in Stillwater Oct. 5.
