You could be paying more at post office soon
You may be paying more the next time you head to the post office, according to the postmaster general.
This year the post office is expected to lose about $6 billion but it’s a lot less than the $16 billion they lost last year.
Lawmakers are being asked to enact legislation to help fix the agency’s financial problems.
In the meantime, the postal service could decide as early as next week whether to request a special rate increase for postage stamps.
