Edmond soldier dies from injuries sustained in Afghanistan
SAN ANTONIO – The Department of Defense announced the death of an Oklahoma soldier at Brooke Army Medical Center.
Spc. James T. Wickliffchacin, 22, of Edmond died Friday from injuries he sustained in Afghanistan on August 12. According to the DOD, he was injured by an improvised explosive device that detonated nearby.
